Mrs. Hindley's Math Expectations

 

The Challenge is ON!

Mrs. Hindley can answer 100 multiplication problems in 78 seconds/ 1 minute 18 seconds. I have challenged the students to beat my time.The reward is a pizza and soda lunch with 2 friends provided by Mrs. Hindley. Come on kids BEAT MY TIME!

Reading Expectations

1. Students should read a minimum of 20 minutes daily.

2. All students are required to document the minutes read on the monthly calendar and complete the literature activity for the month.

3. AR tests should be taken often and the goal is to add 100 points during fifth grade.

4. The reading folder is due the last school day of every month unless otherwise stated.

Mrs. Hindley's Science Expectations

  1. All students will keep a neat and organized Science section in the binder.
  2. Students will listen and follow the step by step directions during hands on experiments.
  3. Everyone will do a fair share of the work and clean up.
  4. Students will ask questions during class, for that is what science is, inquiry into how the world around us operates.
