Water bottles are filled as needed and children take them out to PE and have access to them during the day.

Writing skills are already being developed and we will be following, “The Art of Writing,” by Lucy Calkins. Each student is in different stages of development of the writing process and this program is designed to provide individual instruction. Spelling will eventually be important, but in regards to writing, inventive spelling is encouraged, as the goal is to get ideas on the page and to not be intimidated by spelling errors. As the year progresses, their skills will improve, but it takes time and patience.

eXcellent is for all the awesome and caring parents all the children have in my class!!

You are the most important teacher in your child’s life! Please encourage them to “try their best at home and at school.”

ZZZZZ- Sleep is extremely important for your child. It will help your child be alert and ready to learn each day!
