We love to recognize the special day your child was born in class!
When your child arrives at school they will be greeted with a warm birthday smile. They will have the privilege of wearing our special class birthday T-Shirt. The student will also have a special birthday place mat to use at their seat. We will honor them further with a birthday crown so they can be our birthday king or queen for the day. The student will be able to pick a special birthday song to sing and a birthday book from our birthday box. At the end of the day I will send the "Birthday Bag" home with your child. At home you and your child can add photographs, stories, poems, drawings or artifacts from your child's birthday.
Our procedure for parents bringing in things to celebrate a class birthday is as follows:
1. You may bring cupcakes and capri suns for the class to share with your child at 2:45 pm.
(Check with Mrs. Tyler for an updated class number.)
2. We will go outside on the picnic tables to sing, have cupcakes, and drinks.
3. As soon as we are cleaned up we will return to the classroom to continue our educational day.
4. Feel free to bring a camera to photograph the special occasion.
