“I'm
a happy, hopping frog today! I'm remembering how to work and play in the pond!”
1 “Oops! I forgot how to hop around the pond but I'll remember next time!”
Move my name down to 1 and remember the rules next time.
2 “Uh-oh. I'm really missing the lily pad today…I need to sit out of the pond for a refresher.”
Move my name down to 2, review the “pond” rules, and sit out for 5 minutes. If I remain on 2 I will also lose 5 minutes of developmental centers.
3 “ Croak! I am having trouble with my “hopping” today. I need to go to the “banks” to talk to the “head frog” to refocus.”
Move my name down to 3, 5 minutes time out again to refocus and review the rules. A note or phone call will be going home. Maybe visit the “head frog” Mrs. Bushman or Ms. McHugh. No time to play during developmental centers.
