Mrs. Tyler's Behavior Plan
Every student begins the day with his or her jet plane on “blue”.
BLUE - “I am soaring high! Smooth sailing for me today.”
GREEN - “Oops! I forgot but I'll remember next time.”
Move your jet and remember the rules next time.
YELLOW - “Uh-oh! I forgot the rule again… I need to land for some thinking time.”
Five minutes time in a chair away from the group and make a new flight plan.
RED - “Yikes! I am having trouble today. I need to get some repairs.”
Five minutes time in a chair away from the group or in another room to refocus. Note or phone call going home. Maybe visit Ms. McHugh.
The daily notebook will be used to record the color the student earns each day. Please initial by each day. If the student is on yellow or red a note will be indicated on the day.
It will be a partnership between home and school to communicate about the child daily. Please let me know about any situations at home influencing the student's mood or routine.
